If you have to return an item, be sure to include a copy of your invoice and write the reason for each returned item, should you have not contacted us prior by email or phone. Freight charges for any items to be returned must be paid by the customer. We suggest to use trackable and insurable services (i.e. UPS or FedEx) to assure safe transit of YOUR parts.
If a return is based on your wrong doing (incorrect part order, changed your mind) additional S/H will be charged for the correct item to be returned to you.
Items returned for exchange or refund must be returned within 14 days from receipt date in original and unused condition (unless defective). Excessive delay in returning an item may result in a 20% restocking fee.
Special order items and paint service items may not be returned, unless clearly defective.
Refunds will be given upon inspection of the any item returned. Full credit of any order (incl. S/H charges) will be given for defective parts or parts incorrectly shipped to you based on our error. Credit for the item only (less initial S/H fees) will be given for all parts returned based on your decision to do so (i.e. not satisfied, changed mind etc.).
All items must be unused and in factory packaging.
Certain items, are sold as a package deal. If you return any item from a package deal for a "refund" the items that you kept from the package revert to regular pricing and you will be refunded the remainder after all items from the original package are repriced to regular pricing rather than package deal pricing. We suggest that you exchange the item rather than have the item refunded in order to avoid the remainder of the items that you kept repriced.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: The following statement must be written on your invoice enclosed in the return package and on the Custom's Declaration on the outside of the package: U.S. GOODS BEING RETURNED FOR REPAIR OR EXCHANGE.

Special order items do require prepayment. These are special order items that we do not usually stock, but are willing to order from our vendors at your request. These special order items are paid for in advance, non-returnable and non-refundable.

In the even that an item arrives damaged during transit, contact AmericanClassix immediately after receipt of the item(s). Keep all packaging materials and the original shipping carton. AmericanClassix will advise you of the procedure needed to be followed. DO NOT return item(s) until instructed to do so.
